The hammer I used was from Vaughan Manufacturing. According to their website, "Vaughan is committed to providing American made products, comprised of American raw materials." As long as Vaughan is proud to say "Made in USA," I'm proud to say I own Vaughan products.
Finally, the Ventsure Ridge Vents. They're made by Corning Inc. Not all their products are made in USA, but I, for one, will support the ones that are.
You know, I can't do a simple posting without doing a bit of ranting. Here goes!
As much as I love this country, I really wish there were more people who genuinely believed in this country as much as I do. I probably hear it more than most that "nothing is made in America anymore," or "American production is just too expensive." Nearly every time I go to a store and ask for American made products, I get the same lines over and over.
In my years of searching, there are very few things that I haven't been able to find that are made in the USA, higher in quality, and cheaper in price. But don't take my word for it, do your own research... You'll be pleasantly surprised.
So when you hear people badmouthing American made products, stop them in their tracks and tell them to WAKE UP!
