I went to their website looking for an "about us" page to see if they talk about why they've decided to keep making their products in the USA versus shipping them off to some other country for a "cheaper" products. Unfortunately, I couldn't find one, so I shot them an e-mail asking if they'd be willing to add one. We'll see if they respond.
I hope they don't mind, but I copied a bit of their "About Us" page for your reading pleasure right here:
The West was built by people with strength and great pride in their workmanship. It was a necessity that early settlers of Montana have a strong will, a resilient character and great determination to tame the rugged landscape while adapting to its dramatic climate. That spirit – made in USA pride & craftsmanship is alive today, both in how Montana Brand tools are manufactured and how they perform.
I suppose if you need to get a lawn mower, getting one with this label is better than one without.
Americans are hard workers with a strong work ethic... Don't let anybody tell you different!
