I came across a pretty awesome article at www.MadeintheUSA.com (http://www.madeintheusa.com/why-buy-american.php) that contains tons of value. I encourage you to read it... To me, this sentence was the kicker: "When workers spend their money on U.S.-made products, the dollars continue to be recycled."
I'm sure you've heard by now that China has surpassed the United States as the world's largest trading nation. That figure alone doesn't bother me... Some years ago, China became the worlds largest exporter. That figure alone doesn't bother me much either. What really gets to me is the fact that we import a whole lot more than we export.
Think about that in regard to the financial aspects... If you constantly spent more money than you made, you'd be in financial ruin. Does congress come to mind?
My goal isn't to change congress, it's to change you! When enough people change, our money will start to recycle within our border, and that recycling power can be enough to preserve our country for many more generations.
It's not as tough as it seems, simply check the label before you buy.
